Anti-Wall Street protesters against U.S. prison conditions

Hundreds of demonstrators and prison reform activists march towards the gates of San Quentin Prison during an Occupy the Prisons protest in San Quentin, California on Monday. They joined forces to object high imprisonment rates and cruel living conditions.

Protesters called for an end to solitary confinement and death penalty. For them, the state’s sentencing laws are too strict, and children should not be tried as adults.
